Stopped in for lunch and was amazed at the staffs friendliness and enthusiasm. This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in a strip mall in Jamul, you’d miss it if you weren’t paying attention. They have a delicious menu and plenty of beer options as well as mixed drinks. I got the Buffalo Chicken Salad wrap and a Bloody Mary. Both were phenomenal with just the right amount of spice! A great place off the beaten path! The beer selection was good and the BBQ burger was freaking awesome! The bacon! Phewww! If you're in the area and hungry this place is a must!!!
Finally found a good place to eat in Jamul. As a local Jamulian it’s hard to find a decent place to eat close to home. The waiter and owner were friendly. The food was very tasty and had great flavor. Will for sure become a regular.
My boyfriend has always stopped here to eat with his buddies coming back from the lake, and he took me for the first time yesterday. Great beers on tap. Patty melt was one of the best I’ve had in a while. And our bartender was awesome! Can’t remember his name but he was on point. It was himself and another girl, but they were awesome. Hustled! When we left, he even took the time to come out the door to thank us. Definitely going back again soon!
I visited my parents and took him here because I remember going when I lived in Spring valley and it is still one of my favorite burger places. The ingredients are always so fresh. My dad has always been a little picky and even he said it was delicious
Ordered the Ortega Chili burger with steak fries to go. It is a solid burger, tasty, and they wrapped the lettuce, onions, and tomato separately so it didn’t get mushy during the ride home. Loved it! The steak fries were not so tasty. Maybe old oil or whatever, but I think I will try their onion rings next because those steak fries missed the target.
Super caring staff. Greeted when entered, tons of smiles, kid friendly, have a separate room which appeared to be for parties, a bar, and a few TVs to watch sports. The food was great. My sons grandmother has dietary restrictions; however, the had a great salad to her liking. Will definitely be back. Thanks.
The Hangover burger was what I opted for. I don’t know if if the burger isn’t supposed to come with condiments as mine did not but it worked out great because I put ranch that I was dipping my fries in. The burger was amazing delicious and cooked to perfection. The fries I have to take a second to discuss. Damn were those were delicious. Erin(Manager) told me she gets her fries with lemon pepper seasoning so I got the same and YA BOY!!! Oh and you have 2 options steak or shoestring fries I opted for shoestring! Now the Hangover burger was great but I look forward to eating a regular burger with bacon!
